Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"What a pleasant experience. My seafood ravioli dish was amazing. The fried baby squid were also good. I recommend."
"Efficient and good food. It was the first time I have had Saltimbocca - very nice. (Potatoes maybe a little salty.) The service is very fast and helpful, and would be perfect if it was a little more gentle."
"It was highly recommended by friends as their second kitchen. Very well worth it, and I would highly recommend the restaurant. Be prepared for LARGE portions. They brought a second table because our order overflowed our table for two! We ordered 4 appetizers and one entree - it was easily enough for 3 or 4 people. When I’m Roma, GO!"
"Amazing food, everything was so delicious and good prices."
"Loveeee this place! We spent my mom's birthday here. Everything was perfect."
"I just couldn't pass up Frankie's Spaghetti with Clams in asparagus sauce with bottarga. There was an abundant clams, and I was surprised how light the sauce was. Bottarga were tiny dried fish eggs (roe) that made the sauce so savory. It was an unami experience tickling the taste buds. Hidden in the flavor of the sauce was the refreshing asparagus. The spaghetti was al dente; Italians know the right chewiness for pasta. Now I know I tend to over cook the pasta. Let's jump to their dessert platter. You just have to take a look and you wish you could have every piece of the sweet treats. You won't go wrong with any one. Get a group together and simply savor every moment of family time, friendship and, of course, food and fun. Never be pressed to leave. Italians take their time to eat, to talk, to love. My group went to Frankie's around 7:30 pm on a Thursday evening. We did not have to wait long. Other friends came in late and waited about 30 minutes."
"This restaurant was a short walk from our hotel and is accessible by public transit. It took a while for the staff to warm up to us and it was a build to good service, but it ended well. The food exceeded our expectations and was very good. We had the garlic shrimp, oysters, pizza fiori di zucca, risotto with scampi cream sauce, and Roman-style saltimbocca with roasted potatoes."
"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent – I tried the lasagna and the carbonara, and both dishes were flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. During my visit, a small issue came up, but the staff handled it immediately and with great professionalism. Not only did they solve the problem quickly, but they also went the extra mile to make sure I felt looked after, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here. Overall, delicious food combined with attentive service made my visit very enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
